These
words have a duel meaning. They can make you smile and at the same
time make your computers hard drive cry.
Yes,
it's that time of year again. Soon your in-box will be filled with
invitations to the latest and greatest the Internet Marketing
community has to offer.
During
these times, especially on a quiet night, you can go out on the back
porch and hear the sounds of computers crashing in the distance.
Information overload is replaced by 'Hard Drive Overload”.
By
following a few basic guidelines, you can prevent this from happening
to you.
Generally,
giveaways fall into a couple of categories:
such as Internet
Marketing, Niche Products, PLR or Resale Rights, etc.
All
of which will have products in different formats. Like ebooks,
software, membership sites, reports, scripts, etc.
First,
browse through all the offerings. When you see something you like,
start a list. Write down the product providers name, the name of the
product, and what it does. Also, the value of the product if listed.
Once you have your list, look for associated products, things that
would compliment each other if bundled together. Like this, say you
found an ebook that describes the different types of PLR and resale
rights. You could bundle this with some PLR or resale rights products
along with a product that describes how to market these items. See
what I mean?
This
is where the value of the product come in. When you bundle your
packages, you have a perceived value of the individual products and a
total to show your prospects to help convert them into customers.
Reinforce the buying decision.
Now,
open your Documents folder and create a folder for the particular
giveaway. Yes, you will need a separate folder for each. Inside this
folder, create sub-folders labeled for each type of product, such as
resale rights, PLR, software, scripts, membership sites, etc.
Now,
download the products from your list directly to that folder.
Everything nice and neat.
By-the-way,
hang on to that list. This way you will not duplicate your downloads
from other giveaway events.
Giveaway
events are an excellent source for products and information. You just
need a strategy to make the best of them and so you don't have a hard
drive filled with things collecting cyber dust that you can't
remember where you got them or what they are supposed to do.
I
hope you have found this useful. Happy Downloading!
Best
in Life,
Jim
